Life Inside the Box – 029 – Games, Games, Games!

This week Kyle, Brian and Stephen are Joined by Chris Heald for a games filled extravaganza where we discuss what we’ve been playing, including [blippr]Team Fortress 2[/blippr], [blippr]Evacuation[/blippr], [blippr]Resident Evil 5[/blippr], [blippr]Halo Wars[/blippr], [blippr]Crysis[/blippr], and [blippr]Sword of Mana[/blippr]. Then after some mishaps we are on to the news with the Square Enix/Eidos deal, New Game announcements, and the all powerful NPDs.
Lastly the votes are in and the next Backwards Compatible game is Vamp[blippr]ire the Masquerade: Bloodlines[/blippr], available through Steam and Amazon. This week the whole gang is back and we catch up on what we’ve been playing then it’s on to the news where we discuss Valves new L4D offerings, as well as Sega Europes take on the second hand games market, as well as the announcement of Red Dead Redemption, and more.
Finally we round up the show with an extended Backwards Compatible segment where we discuss the last 2 acts of Homeworld and discuss the games triumphs and flaws and the effect it had on its genre.

This week Kyle and Brian do a duet without raymond or stephen. we cover what we’ve been playing, then it’s on to the news where we discuss the bevy on legislative news that has poped up in the last few weeks, as well as Epic’s epic DRM problems with gears of war, and bethesda’s plans for FO3 on the PS3, or lack there of.
This week’s Backwards Compatibility segment was delayed till next week, in the mean time we’ll finish up the game and be ready to talk about the game through conclusion next week.
